Ashlee & Patrick - Austin, TX

The free easy going spirit of Ashlee & warm open-hearted nature of Patrick creates the core of this wedding. This Austin-in-the-Spring wedding is the perfect garden-inspired event. On our way to Graceland Oakes event center, we stopped at Lady bird Johnson wildflower center, and strolled among  giant agave plants, purple blue bonnets blossoms, fields of Indian Paint brush, and hundreds of other flowers. My favorite part of the day was the golden hour behind the venue. We snuck away from the high energy of the reception to a field of yellow wild flowers, which seemed burst with sunlight as the flecks of gold caught the light. Ashlee & Patrick’s effortless chemistry was a dream. Ashlee designed the florals, & made her hair piece. Her creativity made me appreciate every little detailed that she curated for her weddings, and was executed wonderfully by Lauren Killion.
